Philia Trio

The Trio was born in 2018, under the impetus of cellist Lisa Strauss and accordionist Théo Ould, both students at the Paris Conservatoire at the time. After the success of their first album Madness released in 2022 on the Auvers-sur-Oise Festival label DiscAuvers, the two musicians are joined by violinist Pierre Liscia-Beaurenaut, a graduate of the Lyon Conservatoire and Berlin University of the Arts. The ensemble presents an eclectic repertoire, from Baroque to contemporary, from Marin Marais to Arvo Pärt, all brought together by the astonishing combination of violin, cello and accordion.
