Maxime Zecchini made his debut at New York's Carnegie Hall in May 2022.
He has been invited to numerous festivals, and has performed at La Seine Musicale, Salle Gaveau, Théâtre du Châtelet, Peking Opera, Shanghai Opera, Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and Kiev Philharmonic, with the Malaysian National Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Pasdeloup, Capetown Philharmonic Orchestra, Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Cuenca Symphony Orchestra and Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic Orchestra.
An avid traveler, Maxime Zecchini has toured in some sixty countries: Italy, Turkey, Germany, UK, China, South Korea, Japan, South Africa, Australia, Central America, India...
His 10-volume and DVD recording of an anthology of works for the left hand - solo piano, concertos for piano and orchestra, chamber music - is a world premiere in discography (AdVitam Records / PIAS label).
This project has been widely acclaimed by the press (FFFF by Télérama, 4 clés by Diapason, 4 stars by Classica, Le Monde, Le Figaro) and has been the subject of numerous broadcasts on France 4, TV5 Monde, France Info TV, France Musique, Radio Classique, France Inter and France Culture.
Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon in the class of Géry Moutier and Danièle Renault-Fasquelle, he was awarded the Diplôme National d'Études Supérieures Musicales, with unanimous honors and congratulations from the jury. He then entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris in the Cycle de Perfectionnement class of Jean-François Heisser. He also received regular coaching from Laurent Cabasso and Olivier Cazal.
The first French pianist to graduate from the prestigious "Incontri col Maestro" Academy in Imola, Italy, he won the Arcachon International Competition and the Forum de Normandie International Competition. Maxime Zecchini is also a laureate of the Cziffra Foundation and the Ragusa-Ibla Competition in Sicily. He was unanimously awarded First Prize at the Varenna-Lake Como International Competition in Italy.
Maxime Zecchini is also a laureate of the Vocation-Fondation Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet, the Meyer Foundation and the Mécénat Musical Société Générale. He has been labeled by the Mission Ministérielle du Centenaire and supported by the Bru Zane Foundation in Venice.
An eclectic musician, Maxime Zecchini has given recitals with singer Julia Migenes and concert-readings with actress Anouk Aimée. As a composer, he is the author of numerous transcriptions, and his original pieces are published by Editions Durand-Salabert-Universal Music.
