Winner of numerous international competitions, Maxime Zecchini has established himself as one of the most distinctive and acclaimed figures of French piano.
He made his solo recital debut at Carnegie Hall in New York in May 2022 and has since performed on major international stages, including the Théâtre du Châtelet, La Seine Musicale, Salle Gaveau, the Eiffel Tower, the Beijing Opera, the Shanghai Opera, the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, and the Kyiv Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with prestigious orchestras such as the Malaysian National Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre Pasdeloup, the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cuenca Symphony Orchestra, and the Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic Orchestra.
In January 2026, he will perform in concerto at the Philharmonie de Paris.
Invited to perform in more than 80 countries, Maxime Zecchini has built an international career widely praised for its originality and the strength of his artistic commitment.
His extensive recording project — an anthology in ten volumes accompanied by a DVD, dedicated to works for the left hand (solo piano, concertos, and chamber music) — is a world first. Released on the AdVitam Records / PIAS label, this pioneering work has been unanimously praised by critics: FFFF composed by Télérama, 4 clés composed by Diapason, 4 étoiles composed by Classica,as well as articles in Le Monde, Le Figaroand numerous features on France 4, TV5 Monde, France Info TV, France Musique, Radio Classique, France Inter, and France Culture.
The first French pianist to graduate from the prestigious “Incontri col Maestro” Academy in Imola (Italy), he is a laureate of the Cziffra Foundation, winner of the Arcachon International Competition, the Normandy Forum, the Ragusa-Ibla Competition (Sicily), and First Prize unanimously at the Varenna International Competition on the shores of Lake Como (Italy).
He is also a graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Lyon, where he was awarded a unanimous “Très Bien” distinction with highest honors from the jury, before continuing with an advanced postgraduate cycle at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris.
An eclectic musician, Maxime Zecchini has collaborated on a wide range of artistic projects: he has given recitals with singer Julia Migenes, as well as concert-readings with Anouk Aimée, Francis Huster, and Thierry Lhermitte.
As a composer and arranger, he has created numerous transcriptions and original works, published by Éditions Durand–Salabert–Universal Music.
