Join pianist Anastasia Rizikov and cellist Lisa Strauss for their <b>kick-off concert<\/b> <b>le<\/b> <b>on September 23, at 8 o'clock, Salle Cortot.<\/b>.<\/p><p>From the fantastic Turkey dreamt by <strong>Fazil Say<\/strong> to the diabolical emotional shock of<strong>Alfred Schnittke<\/strong>, this journey to the crossroads of East and West plunges us into singular aesthetics that reveal the infinite palette of colours and timbres of the two musicians. This rare repertoire is combined with emblematic pieces of Slavic music. The Shum Duo wanted to pay tribute to the Ukrainian repertoire, in particular through the following piece :\u00a0<i>Melody<\/i>\u00a0composed by <strong>Mykola Lysenko<\/strong>. This concert will be closed by the hypnotic<strong>Arvo P\u00e4rt piece.<\/strong>.<\/p><\/div><div><p>This concert will also be highlighted by<strong> Julien Hanck<\/strong> and <strong>Arpeggio Films<\/strong>.
